Arborio Risotto Rice – SANNITI
The classic risotto rice, in a chef-size bag. Sanniti Arborio is Italy's best-known risotto variety — a plump, short, pearly grain that releases its starch slowly as it cooks, turning a simple pan of broth, butter and cheese into a creamy, velvety risotto.
Arborio's large grains absorb liquid generously while the center keeps a gentle bite, so the finished dish stays creamy without turning mushy. It is forgiving in a busy kitchen, takes on the flavor of whatever stock you use, and works just as well in arancini, rice pudding and baked rice dishes as it does in the risotto pan.
Imported by Zona Food Market for restaurants, caterers and home cooks who want dependable Italian Arborio for everyday risotto.
